Titi Nurdianti, a Jakarta resident originally from Cilacap, Central Java, expressed her deep pride and emotion during Indonesia’s 80th Independence Day flag-lowering ceremony at Merdeka Palace. Securing an official ticket for the historic event was a challenging journey for Titi, as she had to compete online with other Indonesians. Finally being able to attend the ceremony brought her overwhelming joy and a sense of fulfillment. This was her first time witnessing the sacred ritual in person, a moment she had only previously seen on television.
To mark the special occasion, Titi wore traditional attire from West Nusa Tenggara, showcasing her admiration for the region with a bright red outfit. The procession towards the National Monument following the flag-lowering ceremony added to the grandeur of the Independence Day celebration. Amidst tears of joy, Titi shared her prayers and wishes for Indonesia’s future prosperity, justice, and peace. She expressed optimism and offered prayers for President Prabowo’s health and leadership, hoping for continued progress and welfare for the nation.
