The Free Health Check in Schools (CKG) program in Indonesia aims to provide health checks to 53 million students nationwide. This initiative covers all types of educational institutions, including public, private, and religious schools under the Ministry of Religious Affairs, which oversees 12.5 million students. Senior Expert Staff at the Presidential Communication Office, Hariqo Wibawa Satria, highlighted the importance of this program to ensure every citizen, including students, receives free health checks. President Prabowo’s vision for a Golden Generation by 2045 emphasizes the significance of programs like Free Nutritious Meals, Capacity Expansion of Public Hospitals, and Digital Learning Initiatives. The President has also enacted regulations to support child protection and provide allowances for medical specialists in remote regions. Minister of Religious Affairs, Nasaruddin Umar, stressed the inclusive nature of the CKG program, covering various religious-based education units. It is an essential step towards achieving the 2045 vision of a healthy and globally competitive generation. Minister Nasaruddin urged religious schools to support the initiative by providing necessary equipment and actively participating in the program. Monitoring and implementation of the CKG program will be closely supervised by Regional Office Heads and District Heads of the Ministry of Religious Affairs nationwide to ensure all schools comply with the initiative. Non-compliance with the program will result in special attention from the Ministry.
