Sugiono, the newly appointed Secretary-General of the Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra) for the 2025–2030 term, expressed his profound appreciation to his predecessor, Ahmad Muzani, who served in the position for 17 years. He conveyed gratitude on behalf of the Gerindra Party to Mr. H. Ahmad Muzani for his contributions from 2008 to 2025. Sugiono praised Muzani for his significant role in leading Prabowo Subianto to the presidency, highlighting his dedication, responsibility, and commitment to the party’s growth. Additionally, he acknowledged Prof. Dr. Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Gerindra’s Executive Chairman, for his contribution to the party’s development. Sugiono also thanked all party cadres for their support, emphasizing the importance of unity and solidarity within the party. He called for strengthening bonds among cadres to support the government’s programs led by President Prabowo Subianto in building a just and prosperous Indonesia. The newly announced Gerindra Central Executive Board (DPP) for the 2025–2030 period includes Prabowo Subianto as Chairman and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad as Executive Chairman, Sugiono as Secretary-General, and Satrio Dimas Adityo as Treasurer-General.
