President Prabowo Subianto reiterated the importance of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) as the “child of the people” during the Operational Troop Review and Military Honors Ceremony in West Java. He emphasized the TNI’s commitment to serving and defending the people, even being prepared to lay down their lives in the line of duty. Newly appointed commanders were reminded to lead with integrity and treat their soldiers like their own children, ensuring they are well-trained but not mistreated. Prabowo also highlighted the TNI’s role as the front line in defending Indonesia, focusing on total people’s defense and defensive strategies. The event included the promotion of General Tandyo Budi Revita and the recognition of other dedicated individuals within the TNI. Additionally, new TNI units were commissioned, showcasing the strength and capabilities of the armed forces.
