President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, embarked on a journey to Bandung, West Java, via the Whoosh high-speed train, accompanied by members of the public from Halim Station in Jakarta. The President, dressed in a cream-colored outfit with a navy blue cap, arrived at the station around 7:45 p.m. Amidst the commuters, Prabowo tapped his boarding card at the ticket gate and headed to the platform, attracting surprise and excitement from onlookers. Waving and warmly engaging with the crowd, he took photos with the Whoosh crew before the train departed for Tegalluar Station in Bandung at 8:00 p.m.
Scheduled to inaugurate the 2025 Indonesian Convention on Science, Technology, and Industry (KSTI) at Sabuga, ITB, from August 7 to 9, President Prabowo will deliver the keynote address alongside Nobel Laureate Konstantin Novoselov and Minister of Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto. With the theme “Economic Growth and Equity Through Mastery of Science and Technology,” KSTI 2025 aims to be a prominent strategic forum both nationally and internationally.
