President Prabowo Subianto has revealed that a total of 352 TNI soldiers are set to take part in the military parade marking the 76th anniversary of the Republic of India in New Delhi on January 26, 2025. The announcement was made before his departure to India from Halim Perdana Kusuma Airbase in Jakarta. Indonesia sees this invitation from the Indian government as a great honor and is thrilled to have Indonesian troops, including Akmil cadets, positioned in the front row of India’s anniversary parade. The Indonesian contingent will comprise 352 TNI soldiers and cadets from the military academy. President Prabowo’s itinerary includes meetings with Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss various aspects of bilateral cooperation. This may involve the signing of an MoU covering collaboration in health, culture, security, maritime safety, and technology. Moreover, discussions with Indian entrepreneurs keen on investing in Indonesia are also scheduled during his visit.
